Benjamin Discovery

I have been working on my discovery now for awhile and had sighted it in a month or so ago but recently as a result of making my shooting bench have decided to test out my zero to ensure it is dead on for the opening day of squirrel season on Sept 15.

I have a Benjamin Discovery in .22 Cal topped with a Leapers 3-9 x 40mm AO scope. I got my gun from Mac-1 airguns as it comes modded with a trigger job to smooth out the pull and lower the pull weight, as well as reshaping of the crown and a few orings replaced. (more…)

Horst Shooting Bench Plans

I followed the shooting bench plans above just using whatever scrap wood i had and this is what i came up with.

We used some of the wood stated in the plans, but some other stuff we had mostly for back center leg and bench top.

Thing is rock solid and comfortable
